I've uploaded a bunch of photos from this year's Cub-o-ree. We had eleven families in attendance, and everyone had a great time. Click here to see the photo album. |

We had a great turnout for the 2008 Raingutter Regatta! I want to extend a big Thank You to all of our parents who managed to find time to build a boat with their scout amidst having to deal with the fallout from the recent wind storm and power outages. I know of at least one family who built their boat the day of the race! I hope that everyone enjoyed building and racing their boat. Congratulations to all of our scouts on a job well done on all of the boats! Our top three finishers by den were: Tigers - Jude W.
- Logan L.
- Brayden S.
| Wolves - Jordan P.
- Christopher K.
- Taylor W.
| Bears - Jacob H.
- Chris B.
- Shaun B.
| Webelos - Zack M.
- Tyler B.
- Holden B.
|
These scouts went on to compete in the overall pack championship round. The racing was intense, the competition fierce ... and at the end, these three scouts came out on top: - Zack M.
- Jude W.
- Jacob H.

Our 2008 School Night was a huge success. First of all, I'd like say thanks to Jim Ludwig, our District Director, for doing a great presentation. We really appreciate having such a dedicated (and animated!) partner at Council. Also, I'd like to extend a welcome to the 22 new members of Pack 959. That group breaks down into 11 Tigers, four Wolves, three Bears, and four Webelos. So, I'll look to all of our den leaders to make our new members feel welcome. As I mentioned during my brief comments at the school, I would encourage all of our new parents to feel free to contact your den leader or me with any questions, comments, or concerns. All of the pack and den leaders can be reached using the Contact Us page. I'm looking forward to a fun-filled year of scouting for our new scouts as well as our returning scouts! |
