Summer Camp Opportunities
Written by Bob H.
Wednesday, 23 April 2008

Karen has prepared a flyer outlinging the various camp opportunities for our scouts over the summer (thanks, Karen!).  Have a look and think about having your boy participate ... the day camps and adventure camp are a lot of fun and give your scout a head start on the requirements for his next rank.  The Fun With Son weekends are a blast, with plenty of activities for the kids at Cub World.

It's a Cub Scout Skate Party!
Written by Bob H.
Tuesday, 01 April 2008

Come to the April Pack Meeting
at Skateway Trenton!

(map)

April 8
6:30pm - 8:30pm

$10  for an evening of fun for the whole family!
(skate rental included, if needed)

This would be a great opportunity to bring any friends that are curious about Cub Scouts, or just anyone who wants to come out and skate!  We will have the rink completely to ourselves, so there will be no crowds.  It's a chance for your younger children to give it a try without getting run over.  Regardless of how many people you bring, we are asking that each family contribute $10 to the cost of renting the rink.  Food and drinks are allowed, so feel free to bring snacks.

We will do our usual awards presentation first, then the rink will be open for skating.  If you would prefer to come for the awards presentation but not stay to skate, feel free to do that (and of course you would not be asked to contribute any money).  If the fee is a concern for your family, don't worry about it ... we're not going to turn anyone away.

See you there!
